Got Milk?
Mixed media on paper, framed & matted, 12" x 18"

Got Milk presents a fractured portrait of Alex from A Clockwork Orange, constructed using the same mixed-media approach as Devoid to Gain Totality. The composition combines a hand-painted acrylic image in color with a torn black-and-white printed layer, the rip itself becoming a deliberate focal point rather than a flaw.

The torn edge exposes the tension between violence and control, free will and imposed morality—central themes of the film. Color suggests impulse, desire, and chaos, while monochrome implies authority, reduction, and restraint. By partially obscuring and revealing Alex’s face, the piece confronts the viewer with the instability of identity and the discomfort of forced transformation. Got Milk challenges the idea of rehabilitation through erasure, questioning whether morality can exist when choice is stripped away.
